How long does it take to get a dental bridge?
A traditional bridge typically requires two appointments: one to prepare the anchor teeth and take impressions, and a second (two to three weeks later) to place the permanent bridge. We provide a temporary bridge in between.
How long do dental bridges last?
With proper care, dental bridges typically last 10 to 15 years or longer. Good oral hygiene — including flossing under the bridge — is essential for longevity.
Is a bridge better than an implant?
Both are excellent options for replacing missing teeth. Implants are generally considered the gold standard because they preserve jawbone and do not require altering adjacent teeth. Bridges may be preferred when implants are not possible or when a faster, more affordable solution is needed.
