Traditional crown procedures require two appointments: one to prepare the tooth and take impressions, and a second (two to three weeks later) to place the permanent crown. In between, you wear a temporary crown that can be uncomfortable and prone to falling off. CEREC technology eliminates all of that.

Using a digital scanner, we take precise 3D impressions of your tooth. Our CEREC software designs the crown to match your natural tooth shape and bite. A milling unit then carves the crown from a solid block of high-strength ceramic — right in our office. The entire process, from preparation to placement, takes about 90 minutes to two hours.
