We work with any oral surgeon or periodontist who has placed your implant posts. Once your implants have fully integrated with the jawbone (typically three to six months after placement), we take digital impressions and design your custom restoration. In many cases, we can deliver same-day implant crowns using our CEREC technology.

How long after implant placement can I get my crown?
Most patients need to wait three to six months after implant placement for the implant to fully integrate with the jawbone before a restoration can be placed. Your oral surgeon or periodontist will advise you on the appropriate timing.
Can you restore implants placed by another dentist?
Yes. We routinely restore implants placed by oral surgeons and periodontists throughout the area. We will need the implant records and specifications to fabricate the correct restoration.
What type of crown is used for implants?
We typically use high-strength ceramic (E.max or zirconia) for implant crowns — the same materials used for our CEREC crowns. These materials are very durable, natural-looking, and resistant to staining.
